Race Plan:

Vern Halter and Susan Whiton of Dream A Dream Dog Tours/Dream Inn have agreed to have the vet check, meetings, and the
start and finish from their facility in Willow. They have plenty of room for anyone wishing to stay the night there if needed.
There is room for mushers and trucks alike. There will be beds, bathroom and shower facilities as well as a nice place to
lounge around while waiting on the mushers.

The Willow Jr. 100 will be going the full 100 miles. The MANDATORY SIGN-IN will be at 10:00 AM followed by the vet check
and video. The START of the race is due to take place at approx. NOON.

We expect teams to be at the 50-mile halfway point between 4 PM and 6 PM. We will serve hot meals for the mushers and
crew at the half way point and if the parents wish to be there with the children, they are welcome (with supervision of course)
and can eat too. Donations will be accepted for their meal, but not required. The mushers will then have an 8 hour layover
(there will be an insulated tent for musher use) before returning to Dream A Dream Dog Tours for the finish.

Please feel free to contact Chris Stitt at 495-6707 or 232-9329. These changes were made by the race crew and organizers for
the benefit of the children, as the race course is going to be a long run up, therefore the dog care is of special interest to us.
Hope to see you all at the race.
